The Smart Cover is one of Apple’s best accessories ever, and it seems absolutely essential for the iPad 2. One thought that has always been intriguing is a Smart Cover for the iPhone, as a mini version. TidyTilt is the answer, and it acts just like the Smart Cover, but with a few nice additions too. TidyTilt is made for the iPhone, and folds into two kickstand orientations to hold your iPhone up for movies, typing, games, and more. TinyTilt is composed of three folds, and is filled with magnets to stick and fold for your device.
The TidyTilt can also be folded to hold your earbuds or sync cable, and it’s a very ingenious idea that Apple should have made themselves when the 4S was released. TidyTilt is a KickStarter project from two design students, and they’re looking for your help in backing the project. It works with a mount that attaches to the back of your iPhone with a special adhesive, and the cover attaches magnetically to the mount. The accessory is iPhone 4 or 4S only, and can also attach your iPhone to any magnetic surface with very strong magnets. The TidyTilt actually attaches to the back rather than the front, and protects the back of your device.
You can support TidyTilt with donations as little as $1, and $19 will get you a TidyTilt in one of the four colors as soon as they begin shipping. TidyTilt is one of the beast ideas we’ve seen on KickStarter which is full of many great ideas. We hope they get enough funds to produce this idea, and we can’t wait to have one for our iPhone.
